BACKGROUND

OBJECTIVES

The project aims at developing a new mentality in the target group members to let them acquire better self-orientation competences. The main goals are to overcome sectorial actions, to offer innovative methods for orientation and training, to experiment pedagogical strategies tuned on peculiar vocational profiles, on the labour mar-ket needs and on the acquired competences of the target group members.
Moreover it aims at developing a stable network among the various stakeholders in order to offer a global approach to the social `un-employability` issue.
The project is articulated in 3 macro-phases.
The macro-phase 1 is the target group selection through a special census conducted with the help of the social services of the partner municipalities and the ones in the network.
This will be supported by an informative action based on an already existing service network and on a mobile information and consulting office. This second section will be articulated in two different levels: 1) an observatory for the recognaissance of the local experiences; 2) some negotiation agencies among the operators and with the contribution of the representatives of the target group for a continu-ous gauge of each one`s action in the project.
In the macro-phase 2 the Local Development Partnership will pro-vide several services such as work orienting, counselling, mentor-ing, enpowering, competence balance-sheet, certification of compe-tences, curriculum drawing assistance, school and work career con-sulting, front-office service.
It will also be done through a deep co-operation with companies, firms and vocational training agencies, and by social agreements on education, mutual rcognition of the former professional and educa-tion credits, FAD method, information and education seminars.
The macro-phase 3 aims at promoting a real social integration proc-ess by means of true and monitored work experiences. Special job inclusion projects will be built step by step beginning from stage and apprenticeship experiences, entrepreneurial labs, social co-operative inclusion, enterprise startup, transition through temporary work agencies.
It will be of maximum importance to enlarge as much as possible the range of the different options offered to the member of the target group in order to match at best work inclusion and people`s personal
disposition.
